At the age of 19, Darren was sacked from a promising legal career. Unable to find work elsewhere, he took a job selling vacuum cleaners door-to-door just to cover the bills. After one year of this, he did two years as a telemarketer and three years as a telephone debt collector.

In a last ditched attempt to avoid being sacked from a telemarketing job, he changed the way he made his calls. Using just one technique he picked up in his studies he increased his sales 10-fold.

Delivering great presentations is all about controlling the business conversation. Darren knows how to do this.

Fifteen years on, Darren travels Australia helping business leaders refine their message so they can deliver it with power. He has worked with the Department of Defence, the State Library of NSW, LJ Hooker and other to refine their message and the way they deliver it.

He is the author of Speak Motivate and Lead: How Real Leaders inspire others to follow, and regularly appears in the media as an expert on public speaking and communication skills.

With qualifications in Psychology and Human Resource Management, Darren coaches Australian business leaders how to get more out of their presentations.
